A resident of Reston, Virginia, Lorie brings her 15+ years of experience to the event planning industry. Having earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification in 2011, Lorie’s professional background is heavily weighted in association management, where the focus is always on excellent customer service and support to members, exhibitors, and vendors. Originating from an advertising background, her adeptness in editing and proofing has proven invaluable in crafting impeccable event materials.
Passionate about fostering connections and creating lasting memories through events, Lorie finds fulfillment in being part of any and all types of events; because of the many opportunities and memories they create for attendees. “It’s rewarding to know I’m part of the team that helped to connect people with each other, new ideas, and solutions to their challenges.”
Outside of work, Lorie lives an active outdoor lifestyle with her husband. Among the many adventurous things she’s done, the most memorable include repelling down a glacier in Iceland, hiking rim-to-rim-to-rim in the Grand Canyon, and completing two Ironman distance triathlons. To relax, she enjoys wine, craft projects, and painting.
